NDIS SUPPORT PROGRAMS
At SL Tutoring, we are proud to provide developmental support for students who receive funding from the NDIS.
Our services cover the Core Support Categories of Daily Activities or Assistance with Social and Community Participation. The director and the developmental support teacher work together with families and their plan managers to create a structured individualised program that caters for their learning needs. We know how important it is to set goals and track progress, therefore reports are provided for individual plan reviews.
We can cater for students who are:
– Under a self-managed NDIS plan
– Have a plan-managed NDIS funds
Music Therapy and the NDIS
Music Therapy can assist people from different backgrounds, health conditions, abilities and age groups. Taking into consideration the client’s personal learning goals, an individual music program will be established specifically to support individual needs and music preference.
Our sessions are fun, creative and interactive to help you achieve your personal learning goals. Music experiences may include playing instruments like the guitar, keyboard, hand drums, percussion, music technology, body percussion and singing. Clients may even learn to compose and perform their own music!
